I have a submergible oceanrunner 6500 or a external reeflo dart..

thing i want to take into consideration

1.) noise (it's in my bedroom)
2.) enough power to run 3 - 3/4 with flow accelerators
3.) i'm upstairs.. how reliable is the seal on the dart?
4.) i'm running 4 - 1.5" drains 2 full siphon and 2 emergency.. will that be ok for the dart??
5.) media reactors either run separate pumps to the reactors or branch off the dart??

really i'm all for the dart but being upstairs and the noise is whats bothering me...

the 2 things i'm afraid of is the seal failing and the noise on it..

Also i did some searching last night ans was looking into the sicce syncra hf 12 does anyone have experience with these?? i read in the aquacave section that someone used one but claims it's extremely loud.. anyone else have a confirmation on this?

The darts I had came w/ the A.O. Smith motor, and it had a fairly good hum to it, ran a bit hot.
The Baldor motor darts are supposed to be better, but I've never had one.
As for the seal going, seems usually you will see salt creep as it begins to go bad, changing that out can be a bit of a pain especially first time.

I think if you are planning on using the flow accelerators, you have to take the 6500 out of the picture. I don't believe the 6500 will provide enough head pressure to properly run three of them.
Be sure to have a siphon break in the return line(s). They usually need to be positioned well below the water line. If you lose power, chances are your sump will overflow if there's no siphon break.

anyone hear anything about the sicce hf series??? looks like i mite use the dart... or this one i won is actually is a snapper hybrid...

The Dart's gonna be pretty loud for a bedroom, especially with the acoustics of a wooden stand. I'd go with submersible on a neoprene mat in the sump.

yea that was my main worry... seems like will have to try one of the sicce hf pumps or the waterblaster hy-7000
