Which RO/DI do you guys use

I am using the one from Bulk Reef Supply

6 stage 1 micron, 2 carbon,1 RO and 2DI, works great

It doesnt matter what unit you use. What matters is whats in the canisters.

The BEST membrane is from Spectrapure and its there hand inspected membranes.

Your next best bet is the dow filmtec 75.


You need minimum 1 micron (.5 is better) sediment filters follwed by some type of carbon filter.

If your source TDS is above like 200 then you will need to use some DI resin. Use a vertical refillable DI canister as your last stage and you are ROCKIN.
 
I get where vegaskid is going with his post but I think it does matter what unit you run...By choosing a quality unit you will get quality inside the canisters...With that said I am running the 5 stage from bulkreefsupply.com I am very happy with it and it has done everything I have asked it to do....

Yup, I swapped a Spectrapure 90gpd membrane into mine. The water is 0 ppm ever since then.
 
And I got the Liquid Level Controller (LLC) for the top-off system. The guys at SpectraPure will tell you why theirs is the best... Tough to disagree
