Which Salt??

What a loaded question.

LivingTropicals: Is TM PRO only different from TM by ca and mg levels?

Ca and Mg are pennies to supplement, TMPRO is $30 more a bucket.

Hey who is that kissing the SC, I would die for the oportunity. To bad my Canucks are missing some depth this year.
So, I have IO, and LT two new acronims. Yey

RichConley - Yes, optimized ca and mg concentrations plus better buffering ph stabilizations adapted to nsw conditions with the use of other ca supplements or reactors. I wish it only costs pennies for my setup. :)

Thanks RA I have been there many times, especially for ORP and I am sure I will be in the future, Man this SW stuff is way more work than FW but worth it, Eh??

If you don't know what IO stands for you need to stop right there and go do some serious research.

I am not trying to sound holier than thou but you really need to get your ducks in a row before getting any salt on your hands.

Not really, any one who has never been on board before would not know what IO is. You could read all the books in the world and they would never reference it that way and going and asking your local fish store they will call it instant ocean, not IO.

C'mon this has nothing to do with research.

I have used Reef Crystals but I am switching to Kent Marine's salt.

To Cee Gee and

Thanks reefgeek84

I have done lots of homework, asked lots of questions, and read two very good books all about Cr's, Skimmers, Ozone, tank setup and maintanance etc, etc, but like you said, some Manufacturers and their products I have looked at as well but am unfamiliar with there product acronims.

Also up here in Canada we have other products that further confuse the issue as they are never mentioned in RC as they are labled for canada.
I am getting a custom 95 gal tank built with starfire glass, am planning a sump in basement, CR, ETSS reef Devil, All glass sump, closed loop with OM SS and revolutions, UV, and a neptune controller so I can see what is going on when I am not at home going very slow to make sure I get it right the first time.
Cheers

Like I said I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I am just letting you know.......Do your homework and don't skimp on equipment. Both will cost you in the long run.
