Which SEIO Pump to use?

I have a 72 gallon tank at work without a sump so i must have intank circulation pumps.

I was thinking the SEIO 1500 (1500GPH). Do you guys think that would be enough flow or too much? Its $70 bucks from MarineDepot

What are you keeping in the tank?
How big is you return pump?

I have (2) 1500's in my 112 with mixed corals and am thinking of getting the 2600's. But I also plan to get the controller to tone them down a bit.

Right now, i only have softies, but would like to migrate toward stonies. (i dont have a return pump ... no SUMP)

Personally, I go with 2x620 (and about 300gph from a canister filter running carbon) in my 60 with softies and LPS. I prefer the 2 620s over a single larger pump because it allows me a bit more flexibility and erratic flow.

maybe next time i can pull my head out of my butt and read the post. lol. I would also suggest (2) 620's or (2) 820's. I would aim for the 820's.

i think 2 1100's would be cool cuz down the road you can get the controller and have some alternating flow in your tank.

Im with Rockindacheeks. Get the 1100s and maybe the controller. You'll probably wish you had bought them later on down the road.
