Which one is more quiet? Description seems to say syncra is a new model and more quiet?

Go with a Fluval sp4 if you are concerned with quietness.

I started a similar thread a few days ago for my 120g and ended up ordering the SP4. It should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think when it shows up.

I have a sicce syncra 5.0 as a water change and recirculating pump in my water storage tank. Dead quiet, no different then the syncra 4.0 I have feeding a uv and return on another reef.
