OK,I'm getting ready for my final steps, now I just need to add an skimmer. Is the 1st time using a skimmer on a sump so I was wondering any inputs here. The tank is a 65 RR,the space avail in the sump is like 6in on one of the chambers also money is tight.;)
Thanks
AJ

so you only have 6x?
thats a tight fit smallest euro is 9x9
might have to go with the corallife super skimmer that fits the 65 gallon i think its around 70-80 bucks online.
prob best for the money if you want the needle wheel technology.

You can buy mine off me. Its footprint fits perfectly on top of the rio pump that powers it. You would just need a 50 cent curved piece of pipe from homedepot cause I threw out the original but it is just the cheap clear pipe at HD. It has skimmed a 125 gal perfectly, I am asking $75. If you would take the exact measurements I can confirm the size. Hey, didn't I just buy an overflow from you?

Hey AJ, for a cheap one I bought a Pro clear Aquatic system rated for a 75 gallon. It works good to me..

yepp yep.. used them before Don.
i believe the outlet raises up and down for skimmer height and usually has the air valve for adjustment... not a bad little skimmer. my first one ..

john got an octopus and may still have it in the store. everything leaked and he never got it to actually produce much.
H&S skimmers are very nice and euro reef is also around. asm is a budget minded skimmer. they have mini's and everything now.

Well,I just ordered a Octo online this morning. We will see how it goes though read great reviews from it here (RC).Next week will be the Lights (T5) getting closer for final setup.
