Which skimmer is best?

Not sure, the flow meter isnt here yet.

They are metric though.
This is what I want to see. I want to see how they compare to an Eheim 1260. What will you be testing?

I've got a NW200, so the OTP 3000. I'd say just guessing, it probably pulls at about 85-90% of what an Ocean Runner 3700 pulls at.

Does anyone know the metric size of the unions that connect to pump to the skimmer body on the Re-circ models?

And where to buy them?

Jim

Thanks to all for your input. I tend to be leaning toward the Deltec Line. Either an APF600 or AP701. 143gadgets, where did you purchase your AP701? I checked the Deltec web-site in the where to buy section, but most of those retailers are Aquarium Design companies. Please let me know. BTW, nice photography. How did you figure out the white balance? I'm new to digital and I'm still trying to work out the kinks. I have a Canon 1Ds and previously had a Canon 1V.

Thanks,

Peter

Thanks Peter! Glad you like the pics. You can purchase it from a LFS if they are a Deltec dealer. If not, then you can give Doug a call. He runs Deltec USA. You can reach him at http://www.deltecusa.us/ or call him at 1-877-335-8321. He will take care of any questions you have. He is an awesome guy!

As far as the white balance is concerned, I am not too familiar with canons. There should be some way to put the camera in a custom mode and allow you to set it by taking a shot of a white object in the tank. I used some eggcrate to set mine if I remember correctly. Good luck and post some pics when u get it set.
