Which Skimmer?

I moved 6 months ago and am restarting my tank. I have a tunze 9010 and was unhappy with its performance. My system volume will be 50g (display), 40g (sump), 40g (frag tank) when everything is together. The frag tank will not be added for 6 months to a year but I want a skimmer large enough to handle the job when I do add it. I plan on keeping mainly sps with a few lps and my tank will be very heavily stocked and running zeovit.

I have been looking at the vertex omega 150 and sro2000int. But I may have overlooked some. I would like to get the best quality skimmer for my money. I have purchased high priced skimmers in the past only to find their performance is nearly the some cheaper skimmers.

Thanks, Jared

I have the SRO XP3000...for the money, I don't think it can be beat. I've owned numerous skimmers, and this thing out performs them all.

I would put the Omega 150 at the top of the list, with the SRO 2000 Int a very close second to it. Either of those skimmers would be perfect for your size system. Another option for you which gets overlooked pretty frequently is the JNS SK-2, which can be found on our website. It's a great performing skimmer with very good build quality. HTH!
