I have a 240 gal reef with the live rock down the center and both sides can be viewed. The tank is 8' x 2' x 2'. would like to mount two pumps on one end of tank ( one on each side of the live rock.
I have an octopus 3000 for wave maker. I also have two return pumps from the sump -- a Mag 1800 on one end and a Mag 2400 on the other. At the current time I am running two Dolphin DP-650 pumps on the end of the tank and was thinking of adding two more before I read about the T6060 but not sure if it would reach to the end of the tank. Thanks Terry

You would need the 6080 but they cannot be run on a wavemaker. If you want to control the pumps you should get the 6100's and a multicontroller. These pumps are controllable because the design enables them to accelrate and decellerate. Otherwise the start and stop cycles destroy the drive unit and can cause the pumps to overheat. The maximum possibility for a 6080 is 1 hr interval on and off 24cycles a day on a standard timer- beyond this voids the warranty and ruins the pump.
