Which Tank should I use?

Hi,

I have a 90 Reef ready tank setup currently and will have to move it due to flooring being installed next week. This tanks overflow box thing is not in the center of the tank its off center towards the left. Something like this but obviously mine is all stocked up


I also have another 90 Reef ready which has the overflow in the corner like this tank.



My current tank has a few scratches which are annoying because a film of algae grows on it and they don't get removed with a scraper or a pad. I have to do it by hand. The scratches are small but they are scattered to like 5-6 different spots on the front glass.

Both tanks seem to be in good shape and the silicone is okay...not sure what to really look for but some parts have little bits which have been torn but not all the way to the seams.

I wanted to know if there is a way to figure out how old the tanks are depending on the placement of the overflows? I figure they started out off center overflows and then the corner lol? My logic is flawed but just taking a swing here.

Any advice on picking a tank would be much appreciated.

Oops, sorry I forgot to ask. What is the standard size of the bulkheads that are used in these tanks? I have them but I want to redo the entire thing and the lfs charges $15 per bulkhead! I want bulkheads and the two pipes that go with it (durso? i think and the other one). and then do all the hard plumbing.
