Which tank to use for dwar lion.

I have been thinking about setting up a FOWLR tank and want to have a dwarf lionfish for sure.

I currently have a 55 and a 40BR sitting empty and I'm debating which would be better. The 55 has the benefit of more volume, but the 40 has the benefit of the broader foot print.

Which would you use?

I think I'd set up the 40 breeder, but either one is going to be fine.

That broader foot print is worth far more more than the slightly more volume of the 55. I can fit far more in a 40 breeder than a 55
