You can't calibrate Hannas. (not including the ph probe) You can only check the accuracy of yours to a known sample.

I really wish they didn't call it a calibration kit. It is and should be called a Reference kit. You can not calibrate the checkers yourself.

Thank you both for the answer, and yes I agree that it is pretty stupid that they call it a "calibration" when it is indeed a reference. So if it indeed not calibrated can I actually just subtract the difference? Or does it not work this way?

I would not use the reference/calibration kit to make any adjustments to how you read your results. Results very all the time but should always be with in the range of error which is all the reference solution is supposed to check. That the checker can accurately detect a "know" reference solutions with in the range of error. Which for the 736 ULR is +/- 5ppb Converted to phosphates that's +/-0.015ppm.
