Which type of acrylic?

I just called my local glass and plastics supplier and asked about Acrylic. They asked if I wanted Plexiglass or Lexan? I know I don't want Plexiglass, is Lexan what I do want? Or is there another type?

I'm planning to build a small overflow and sump for my 20 Long, and if that works out a larger pair for my 50 gal.

you want plexiglass
lexan would work but it is not acrylic and it is twice the price. if you plan on bending it would be better but you need a break to do it.
