Which Vortech modes do you use?

Since bringing this thread back up, I have actually changed my profiles on my apex to have my MP40's run at Reef Crest anti-sync. Was prior running pulse mode on anti-sync with each mp40 running 5 seconds each pulse

Figured this would be easier.

2 - MP40QD - 1 on each side of a 48x24x16 80 gallon, Apex controlled.
Mounted 3" in from front pane, 6" down from top.
Tank is bare bottom.

Fallback RC40 (40%)
Set RC60 (60%)
If Outlet Vortech_R = OFF Then Slow_25 (25%)
If Time 22:00 to 07:00 Then Lagoon (35%)
If Time 07:00 to 09:00 Then RC40 (40%)

Hi,
I am curious why you went away from Pulse mode. A long pulse seems most natural to me but I could be wrong.

I have had trouble getting all the dead spots from my 3' by 3' by 2' tank and will experiment with the modes again. I have been running reef crest the whole time.
I use...
Mp60qd at about 60% on the left side toward the front
Two mp40qds on the back side at 100% one on left and one on right placed lower
And a great placed horizontal opposite of the Mp60qd at 100% on pulse.

The back of the tank gets a lot of detritus sitting and I need to clean it and place the gyre in a place near the bottom to keep everything moving. I want to put it in the back under the mp40qd but it will be hard to service since there isn't much room back there. I think once I move some rocks out it will open up things and may be all I need to do.

I'm still trying to figure out what to run mine in and placement. I have 2 mp10 hooked up to a apex win. The issue I have is I run a shallow tank 24x24x12, I wanna keep the vortechs as high as I can, but I get way to much vortex that way. I'm looking for those shallow shields they used to make awhile ago, so that you can have them high in the tank without getting the vortex. I am having no luck finding them anymore though.
