Which way to go??

Thinking of running my nutrient export in one of the below three ways and want some opinions On which way to go.

Large refug
Zeo
Bio Pellets all in one

Would like to keep mainly sps

would vote for refugium. Have one on my 55 and only need to change 10% every month and half.

I would recommend you look into Aquaforest products as an alternative to the list you are already considering. It is very similar to zeo but much more gentle and user friendly.

If anyone has a source for Siporax that isn't ridiculous expensive please let me know. Until then I am going the route of Matrix. The idea is similar to siporax but I have read that it isn't as efficient. Either way both are great choices in bacteria driven systems, over 20x the efficiency of using live rock and sand.

I would love the idea of a refugium but in my experience you need more room than some space in your existing sump for it to work as expected. Algae scrubbers are great from what I hear but I have never used one.

I personally hate biopellets, once they worked for me but after I refilled they never worked the same again. No idea, I have tried to restart biopellets about 4 different times and I have always just gave up on them.

Don't think it matters regarding the size. I got the 15mm ones
