Which camera is good for taking those really nice pictures like everyone has. Is the canon rebel XT or canon rebel XTi better? Are they not much different and doesn't matter?

XTi has a bigger lcd (bigger and more pixels) and two more megapixels, although the extra megapixels are not really needed unless you plan on making gigantic prints. XTi also has improved processing speed and a dust removal system. There may some other differences but those are what I noticed right off the bat... so that makes the XTi a better camera technically.

All the other specs aside, the idea of having the dust resistant coating on the sensor and the sensor cleaning vibration feature sounds very nice. I haven't played with it or know how well these sensor cleaners work, but dealing with dust on the sensor is one of the more annoying things about d-slr cams. You are undoubtedly going to get dust on your sensor at some point and will then potentially see that dust in many of the images you take. You won't see it in many pictures, but if you take pictures with the sky with small apertures, you'll see the spots pretty clearly. I just photoshop out the spots in the pics I take where the dust spots are obvious.
