Which would you trust?

Hello all,
I purchased a Teco TK2000 for my setup and have noticed the temperature reading on the TK2000 and my apex are off quite a bit. Would you trust the Teco temp reading or the Apex temp reading? I can get them to be about a tenth off by adjusting the Teco when the water is warm. When the apex is showing 77 degrees the Teco still shows 78.3. This is where my issue lies as I am using the Teco as my heater as well. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

Has either been calibrated lately? I wouldn't trust any of them if they haven't been calibrated lately.

For your tank, the difference between 77.0 and 78.3 really doesn't matter. It's consistency you're after, really. Neither one is probably correct!

I'd just adjust one of them to read what the other one reads. Having both an Apex and Teco chiller, the Teco is easier to adjust the temperature reading so I'd just adjust that to read what the Apex is reading and be done with it. (That's assuming the Apex temp probe is in a location that's representative of the temp your chiller is seeing.)
