which wrasse for my tank

I have a lot of digitat hydroid worms on my rock. I would like to try and get rid of them. Would one of the wrasses do the job??
I also have a mandarin - would the wrasse also eat the pods that the mandarin eats?

Almost all planktivores would eat the pods that the mandarin likes- wrasses especially. Also, I don't think any wrasses will take care of the hydroids. As far as I know, the only thing that really eats hydroids are some limpets, but don't hold me to that, I'm only going off my memory (which isnt always the best).

Thanks for the input. Would limpets be reef safe? What about there pro's and cons.

I have a black limpet and he does fine in my reef. I think that would be fine.

I think some are and some aren't. But I dont know which is the predator of hydros. Not all are.
