what are your expectations ? what are you trying to achieve from it ?

sponge power is a great additive, it feeds sponges, which in turn clean and polish water, and take up excessive bacteria, and in turn the sponge produces a "waste" which is consumed by SPS. it helps with purples too.

CV will bring out the true color of the tissue of the corals, great food for boosting growth as well.[use it within its life time though, it gets weaker as it ages]

Xtra is a mix of AA and other supplements, it has an amazing effect on darkening tissue, and at the same time give tissue a flourescent coloring. could say DEEPER coloring ...

AA is just amino acids, it darkens tissue color. increases polyp extension, I dose AA once in a WHILE since Xtra also contains AAs.

my corals grow just fine with out it. Did you not see how much they ask for a bottle its redicules

My experience with pohl's xtra is that it markedly darkened a stylophora from a pink to a dark dark purple within a week.

I don't think it accelerated growth much, though. Didn't see a very noticeable difference in any other acros...
