I am having a problem with a white colored slime that is covering everything in my 300 gal reef tank. It first appeared two weeks ago and then went away after two days on it's own. It has reappeared yesterday and is covering everything in the tank. Water parameters are all normal, phosphates are 0.05. I saw a post on this in 2009, but none of the answers fit my bill. I don't use kalk, sump is clean and the protein skimmer is working really hard. I have a UV sterilizer and nothing is working. Corals not liking it at all.
