White Ball Corallimorph??

I've found a few of these little guys on live rock that had been in my tank well over a month. I first noticed them about a week ago. Started around the size of a pencil eraser and now are about the size of a dime. Can somebody tell me what they are for sure? Should I remove them? Also found a fairly large worm that I am more concerned about. Couldn't get a really good picture but if anybody could help it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's really hard to say what the identity of that critter is. It's definitely not aiptasia, but there's a possibility that it's a majano anemone. These can be real pests, as they multiply in a similar manner to aiptasia. You'll want to google images of majanos, and keep a watchful eye. If they start multiplying, take the rock out and kill them.

An ordinary bristle worm isn't a big concern, as they eat detritus and don't usually bother anything. However, there are certain types of marine worms that are real issues, but they're rare to find in tanks. One that's very occasionally found in reef tanks that have hitch-hiked on pacific live rock is the Bobbit worm (Eunice aphroditois). Another that can hitch-hike is the true fire worm (Hermodice carunculata).

If you've either one, they need to be removed. Otherwise, there's no worries.

Im glad you said that. My LFS told me it was for sure aipstasia and that I should rid of is using a serenge and lemon juice or hot water? I will do some more digging on that. The worm doesnt seem to be a fire worm to my knowledge. It is from what I can see a tan color. The picture I was able to get is attached. Better idea of what it could be? Ive also noticed quite a few of them (probably 25 or more) in the sand bed against the glass and can see the tracks of where others may have been.

Its a white ball op good eye. Its a cool hitchhiker. It will most likely change color once your tank matures. nothing to worry about.
