Oddly enough, PNG has started shipping a lot more fish within the past year or so, through a project started by Steve Robinson.
Supposedly they researched the area first and developed a plan for a sustainable harvest and safe collection methods. Part of their plan was to not take any anemones, because it impacted the clown population.
During the initial survey he reported lots of white-cap clowns, but I have not seen any coming in. (I have to admit, I haven't been out and about as much as I used to be). To me that means one of two things. They are sending the white-caps to Japan where they can A LOT more money for them or they have decided that they are not sustainable and have chosen not to collect them.
Steve posts on one of the marine fish forums. You might want to see if you can ask him what's up.
