White "cottonlike" "velvitty" stuff on fish HELP

I thought it was ick because it started as white dots stuck to the fish. Now it seems to be turning into a cotton like stuff on the fish. It has taken out 3 fish in 2 days now and is on another 3. BOOOOOOOOOOO. Is there anything I can do BUT QT them because I will never get them out of the 125lbs of rock without destroying the tank....any advice please.

hum, your guys are having a tough time!

Probably they have a seconday infection of some sort. How is the water quality in the main tank?

Can you post some sort of picture of these guys? that would really help a lot.

Could be Lymphocyctis virus, it can appear like white cotton tuffs on fish.

water quality can lead to some eye problems and also Lymph

the white stuff could de lymphocyctis virus . This virus will not kill the fish unless it gets on the mouth the fish can't eat thus dies. The virus this caused from poor water quality.
