White Dots

Hello, I just noticed my Purple and Powder Brown Tang have tiny white dots on them and the Powder Brown Tang didn't eat much at all today.

Any ideas...Ick maybe... Other fish all seem fine.

What is this and do I need to do anything? What can I do if I need to? Who can I prevent this or how could I have gotten this?

Thanks to all in advance.....

Ich looks like grains of salt stuck on the fishes skin. Tangs are prone to this disease. Quarantine all fish in a hospital tank for 4-6 weeks, copper sulfate is the most effective on Ich. Hypo salinity also can help. Copper IS NOT reef safe, so do not try to medicate your tank. It will kill anything invertibrate; corals, crabs, snails, etc. Ich is a tough but common disease, good luck!
