White fish poop...

So can this be anything else besides internal parasites? I only ask cause my two clowns have had 3 treatments of Prazipro and yet still poop white stringy... Any help would be great.

Then I don't know what it is from. Usually if you feed meat, that happens but not with Mysis.

Yea and I have given them 3 rounds of Prazipro 2 when they were in qt and now last one in the DT. After the 2 treatments in the qt I watched the for 2 more weeks before I put them in the DT with no stringy poop. So I put them in DT and like 2 weeks later white poop again. I have a purple fire fish in DT as we'll with no signs of stringy poop. So I'm just confused.

Not that it isn't a parasite, but white poop often happens with high protein diets. Are they active and eating well? If so I wouldn't worry too much about them just yet.

Yea still active and eating. Sometimes the male seems a little sluggish and swims in the top corner of the tank, but for the most part he is active and swimming.

My pair of clowns live mostly in the top corner with the magnetic glass cleaner. They are funny like that. As long as they are not at the top gasping for air (for the lack of oxygen in the water) then you are ok. Keep us updated.

Can I revive this thread ? As I just got some orange line chromis, I found out that 1 of it had white poop. But its still eating formula 1 pellets, there is no sign of grasping air as well. Should I be worry ?
