white fuzzy spots

I have my fish in hypo and yesterday my coral beauty has a fuzzy white spot on each eye. This appeared after 3 days in hypo.

First of all, was hypo administered because she has ich? Second, was hypo administered correctly? what is the salinity right now and how fast was it lowered. how much water change was done to lower the salinity and was the replacement water temperature and pH matched to the original QT water?

Can you take a good picture of the fuzzy white spot? Parasites don't usually attack eyes first so I would think it's cloudy eyes, but without a photo it's hard to say.

My blue tang and yellow tangs had ich,the salinity is at 1.009.My tank is 240 I would drain 5 gallons at a time then replace it with ro-di water. It took a week to go from 1.025 to present. It is defiantly fuzzy looking,it is right in the center of each eye, and around the edges look clear. It is still eating and acting normal.

I am not quite sure what this fuzzy looking thing is so hopefully someone else who knows will chime in.

Is the hypo administered in the display tank with sand and rocks? I like the way you did hypo since it prevents pH shock to the fish. To be honest, more fish are probably lost through pH shock than actual diseases due to improper water changes or acclimations...

I did the hypo in the display tank. The ph only dropped 7.9 at it's lowest,I check it twice a day.It is at 8.2 now.I do 30 gallon water changes to prevent a spike in ammonia from some die off of the liverock and sand bed.Ammonia is at o.

Ok I found out what is on my coral beautys eye.It is saprolegnia fungas,a white cottony patch that covers the outer eye lens.

Glad to hear that! Now just gotta make your way through hypo. It could be a long process depending on how lucky you are, so just hang in there and be patient.

After going through this,I will be setting up a qt.I am makeing a stand for my 135 for fish and a 40 gallon for corals and inverts.
