Hello i'm still a bit lost with setting up this controller. I currently have two simul light sticks connected on a splitter in l3 and l4 port. I know illumination 3 is for the blue lights and illumination 4 is for the red lights but is there a way for me to control the white LED lights besides using them in the thunderstorms? i want them to turn on at night along with the blue lights. Also how does everyone mount these lights sticks i have 4 clamps for 2 sticks seems like i'm missing the screws as they have two holes that suppose to hold them together? i would like to mount these guys on my lighting fixture with mh bulbs which gets really hot. How could i do this without causing any damage to the light sticks and the fixture (so no screws). I've thought of double sided tape but don't know if they hold up well under heat. Sorry for so many questions just one more to go!! are the light sticks water proof? thank you everyone please help a newbie out!

Hiya

The white lights are controlled in combination with the blue, they can not be controlled independantly on the Simu-L or Simu.

The LED as you see react to two channels, L1 or 3 for blue/white and L2 or L4 for red. You can however change the type of blue output by going to LED programming under 1-10V interface and then slect deep blue or light blue.

In regards to mounting, due to so many different options users may require to mount them, screws are not supplied, just the P clips that slide on each end.

Mounting - I suggest mounting them on the outer edge of your fixture, you can employ tiw wraps if that is an option for you. The units also are not water proof but are light splash proof.

Hope that helps :)

is that for all versions, or only the latest models?
i seem to recall something about a serial nummer iff it ends or starts with a certain letter or number you cant change the color bleu.

depends how old yours is, if you got it in the last six months you can change it.

There are no serial number references to this, best way to find out is try it and see :) but these are massive sellers and we are always changing out the stock so you should have the new one.
