I have a male/female pair of bluethroat triggerfish in my QT. The male showed signs of Ich when first acclimated (1 salt grain on top fin). After they were acclimated and started eating i started treating the tank with Cupramine. The visible Ich mark disappeared, but shortly after starting treatment the male and female started getting white spots/marks on their fins. After reading and looking at a few pictures i thought it might be velvet. After about a week the spots went away. Yesterday i noticed the female has more of the white spots on her bottom fin. This morning i noticed a white spot on her eye. Is it normal for to show new symptoms of ich or velvet after 1 week of .5MG Cupramine? Could you please help me identify what the mark looks like, and is copper a good treatment for it. Other than the marks both fish are great. They eat great, they eat every type of food (frozen, pellet, flake, nori), and they get along great. The actually sleep next to each other in the same pvc fitting. Any ideas would really be appreciated.
