Came home this evening and looked at my Naso tang and one side of him have white blotches on him . Only one side. He was fine today and tonight he looks a mess. What the hell happened to him? I have had some anthia to die unexpectedly and I am sure the tang contracted something. How can I treat? I have no quarantine tank...:eek1:

Step 1:
Buy a QT tank

Step 2:
Net infected fish

Step 3:
Acclimate infected fish to QT tank

Step 4:
Take pictures of infection and post them here for proper ID

Step 5:
Follow advice given by experts and treat accordingly

naso tank does show blotches under stress or at night, but if it becomes consistent, it must be something wrong (sick, water quality...), do you have a pic?

I don't have a pic but last night I did a search and I see that this is common with Naso Tangs. Today it is clearing up. I will see what the progress is in the next day or 2. My tank is stablle and water quality is good.
