white roots growing on some LR

A couple of months ago i added LR from an established tank and on some of the pieces(shaded area only) there are white roots growing. Anyone ever seen this or knows what it is

It might be Forams. Do they look like this or similar:

yes that is exactly what i have. Forams???? what is that?

Little protists with a calcite shell. They filter the water for food with their thin pseudopodia. they are good.
