White spot on clown, possible lymphocystis?

My male clownfish had what looked like a small wound near his operculum. As it healed, it started to look a little white. Now there is a noticeable white lump where the wound was. I tried to take a photograph, but it is nearly impossible with my iphone. Do you think it could be lymphocystis or a fungal infection?

What would the appropriate treatment be?

If there was a wound under it, I would assume its just scar tissue. If it oozes or peels, I'd re-post. I don't think this is lympho; a fairly harmless virus that will go away with pristine water & good diet.

It is raised up and looks like a white bubble, and has gotten larger over the past few days. Thanks so much for your response!

Is this a new fish? Any fish introduced recently? Fish acting & eating normally? This bubble growing is weird. I think its a sting, but the ''bubble" could be an early sign of brooklynella; the later stage is a dead fish. I doubt it, but brook is really nasty and I think you should rule it out. BTW, fungal infections are quite rare in fish and look cottony or fuzzy.

Introduced a orange diamond goby a few weeks ago. I have had this clown for almost a year. They jump around, hosting Duncan's, torch, and open brain. I just added a tube anemone yesterday, maybe that stung him?

If the fish is still acting normally, I still think this is just skin peeling from a healing wound/sting. Much the way people can peel from sunburn, lionfish stings (from personal experience), etc. Fungus is quite rare in fish and is cottony or fuzzy. If this was brooklynella, which commonly has peeling skin, the fish would probably have croaked by now. IMO, its nothing to swat unless the fish becomes obviously sick. (lethargic, heavy breathing, not eating, etc.)
