yesterday i noticed my clownfish has a single tiny white spot by it's dorsal fin. Sorry I do not have a picture.

It literally is as small as a grain of sand. It has been there for about a day. Has anyone experienced this?

checked all perameters and they are good.

I just added xenia and a leather coral to the tank 1.5 weeks ago (first corals) could this effect it?

She is not acting any differently either and is eating just fine

thanks

it might be parasite. soak the food in garlic juice before you feed them. you may have to quarantine your fish and treat it with the right medicine. good luck!

I will keep a close eye on it. From what I can see it doesn't look like ich at all. That was one of my bigger worries

Sounds like ich to me, but then again i am more familiar with the fresh version of it....so i could be off.

Keep on eye on it, if it starts doing 'swoops' against things and it looks like its trying to scratch an itch...its probably ich.

You could have introduced a parasite with the new corals you added. I would quarantine the clown right away.
