White spot or scrape on Yellow Watchman Goby?

Hey everyone,
About a week ago I started noticing a small white spot on both sides of my goby just aft of his gills. It almost looks like a scrape or something. Maybe because of burrowing? He is happy and eats good. Just wanted to know if this is a common thing or if it is some sort of bacterial infection. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Water parameters are:
Ph- 8.0-8.3
Nitrite amonia & nitrate- 0
Temp-80

Inhabitants:
2 oc clowns
1 peppermint shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
2 hermits
1 emerald crab
Snails

I'll attach a picture also:::

Not normal...looks like a bacterial infection. You have two options: 1. Feed vitamin enriched food and keep water pristine or 2. treat in a hospital tank with antibiotics.
If he's eating well I would try option 1 and if no improvement and/or decline go to option 2.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try option 1 first and see how that goes. It looks like it's getting worse. Pretty much an open sore now :(

Since he eats you could mix erythromycin in frozen food (some people spray pellets with dissolved e-mycin) and feed it to him in the reef. The little bit that gets into the water column is harmless and it keeps the fish in the tank for a better chance of healing.
