White Spots all over glass

I have these little white spots all over the glass of my SWA. I have had this set up for approximately 60 days now and these have just started to appear. I first noticed it a week ago and there were not too many, but just came home from florida after a 4 day trip and there are at least 2 to 3 hundred now. Here is a little background on my tank. 90 gal RR with sump, Octopus skimmer, Phosban reactor 150, Ehiem 2215, 12 lbs live rock (has been in tank about 3 to 4 weeks now, black live sand, 2 clown fish and three damsels, 6 hermit crabs. Water quality is pretty much on marks, salinity 36ppm (need to drop just a little to 35ppm).

Any idea what these are and if they are good or not.

Thanks,

Kiteman

Yes have several of those also, forgot to mention. These little critters look like they have as few as 3 to 4 legs and as many as 8 to 10, could these be glass anemones by chance?

Probably Pods.
Copepods and/or amphipods.... they are mini-crustaceans. Look at them close; they'll move! And yes they are a very good thing.

First,

Second, do they look like this at all ? If so they are "pods", harmless, and you should see the population explode at first, and then crash (( won't effect your tank )) as the population stabilizes to the available food.

(( these are about the size of two pinheads ))
