White spots on leather. Help!

Hi All, I purchased a used 125 gal. in March. With it came a beautiful leather coral and some Kenya trees. While the tank was cycling the leather was in my 29 gal. Biocube. Never had any problems with it other than it taking about a week to fully open after the big move.

Initially it was happy to be moved back into the 125, but after a week or two I noticed a small round white spot. I googled it and came to the conclusion that it was shedding. Well over the past 2-3 weeks it has developed many spots. Now they are starting to be irregular in shape and in the spots the "feelers" (for lack of a better word) have turned dark. Water parameters are as follows; ph between 8.0-8.2, ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 0. I have never tested the phosphates but did have a large hair algae outbreak. Now I'm running Phosban in a reactor and have cheato in the fuge. The kenya trees and mushrooms are fine. I have a large bristle work population (which is odd since I had not even fed the tank up until 5 days ago, set up tank march 17). Any chance the bristle worms are attacking it?

Exact thing happened to my devils had at the base of each finger and would eventually drop off. Didn't affect the coral at all, just have a bunch of daughter colonies that need to be thinned out. Haven't noticed the same spots on any of the daughter colonies so far.
