first, let me say i was only able to quarantine the fish for a short time prior to adding it to my main tank for reasons i have...... BOUGHT the fish from a LFS...
fish showed no signs of outward sickness but i always quarantine as a standard... competely clean body fins face etc..... eating like a pig A HEALTHY LITTLE GUY !!
I treated the fish with furian2 (a full cycle) of antibiotics....
then a week of greenex..
he was a happy camper all the way through.. with no spots
moved him to the main 150g tank two days ago.... no lights the first day, actinics the second day..... still know spots...... i turn on the MH lights for 2 hrs and all of a sudden..........SPOTS ?????
he still eats like a pig......
but he was always swimming really fast back and forth across the tank.. he will happily stop his frantic swimming to eat though..
He is not scratching at all.....
BUT !!!!!
HE HAS THESE WHITE LITTLE DOTS ALL OVER HIS BODY....
some say ich others say white spot disease, some say same difference????? any ideas... I have read that PB's are known for white spots if stressed????
ALSO WHEN THE LIGHT ARE OFF OR JUST MOONLIGHTS, HE TOTALLY CALMS DOWN..no frantic swimming, he just chills..
