white spots

my kole tang after 2 weeks in the tank had about 10 little whites spots over his body. the next day they where gone and about a week later they appeared again. and one day later they are gone. its hard to get a picture of it, sucker doesn't like to pose for photos. is it this ich. also no other fish in the tank have ich.

How did he get in there without going through quarantine in the first place?

While vitamins may be helpful to boost the fish's immune system, I seriously doubt that garlic does anything against ich.

So I suppose you won't see a doctor when you get sick and just let nature run it's course.

Garlic is great on steak. Garlic does nothing positive for fish.

I leaned the hard way. My kole tang had very small white spots that would come and go. I didn't think was Ick but what I think was happening is the cleaner shrimp were doing their job and in doing so masked the problem. Needless to say I not only lost my tang but 5 other fish. As of now I am at day 55 of the 72 day fallow. I would take the fish out and start treating them now. Good luck
