White Stringy Poo back? Or perhaps it was never gone

Hey guys

I had an issue with my pair of clownfish a few weeks prior that had white stringy poo. I did PraziPro, and 5 days later did a significant water change and medicated again. After that I waited another 5ish days and did one more application.

As far as I knew, they were releasing themselves without the stringyness. I didn't watch them intensely after feeding though. Yesterday I did my weekly water change, and fed my fish. One of them had the stringy poo again after about 45 minutes or so.

Time for another PraziPro treatment? I medicated before on the DT because I have like only 3 frags, and my inverts seemed to be unphased by the treatment in the water. Perhaps I put too little the previous time?

White stringy poo = intestinal parasites. While Prazi will sometimes eradicate these, metro is a better choice. You can soak fish food in metro, so it's reef safe.

FYI; Prazi is mainly useful for eradicating gill flukes.

Is there a particular brand of Metro I should buy? Since I need to replace my carbon again since I'll be doing medication, I might as well just pick them up from Amazon.

I've soaked Metro+ in food, or I'll use API General Cure (a prazi/metro mix) to dose in QT.
