I've noticed these here and there over the years but never fully understood why/how these stringy thing end up in the tentacles. Good sign - bad sign? Never had one die or go down hill after seeing these. TIA!

The BTA doesn't shed off the stringy things - I have never seen any poking out of the tentacles. These are inside of the tentacles themselves. I did a search and the only thing I really found was people who had some stringy thing coming out of the ends of the tents. Most of those nems were a little bleached but not too sure they were related. My nems are really healthy and have great color.

Not worried about it, just really more curious about what it is and why it happens. Inquiring minds want to know! :) I've seen this multiple times over the last 5-6 years.
