White "stuff" on glass??

Hi everyone! I'm obviously REALLY new to this, as I have only had my tank up and running for approx 2 months. Just curious if someone can tell me what this is? It came up whenever I introduced a fire shrimp.

Thanks you all! After doing research based off what you all have said, I am almost 100% positive it is sponges. I have a few pineapple sponges growing on one of my live rocks and although these look different, they definitely arent worms, or in a spiral shape or appear to be eggs. Maybe aliens though ;-)
