White tips receding base

The story:

Assume parameters are all fine and all other coral are doing well and growing. I just added a second hydra 52 to my 55 gallon. No more blind spots lol. The white tips and receding base were previously in a dark spot. Dark spot is gone with full lighting coverage.

Granted the additional lighting was put in place 3 days ago it looks like the bleaching or stn continues. You can even see some PE. I placed in under a rock for a little shading from the additional light for now.

Not terrible, but not ideal. IMO. How fast is the swing?

I think the thing to keep in mind is that acros like stability. If everything is stable except alk then the alk swing can probably be tolerated without any issues. If multiple things are swinging then an alk swing might be enough to push it over the edge.

My garf bonsai frag doing this recently, the haft of lower frag turn white, the top haft is brown. I still have pe though.
