Okay............I can hear you all laughing. Has anyone had any experience with Myxazin of Octozin as treatment in their reef tank for whitespot?

Not laughing here. 
Myxazin is used to lower the harmful bacteria count for treating things like fin rot.
Octozin is a treatment for internal parasites.
White spot (or Ich) if that is what it is, is an external parasite, so I don't see either of them working in this case.

Thankyou for that. Would dropping my SG to 1.017 be likely to kill any of my inverts or corals?

I suspect dropping your main tank to 1.017 could cause your healthy inhabitants to suffer unnecessarily and possibly cause more problems than what you have now.
Hyposalinity is better done in a hospital tank.
Even treating Ich with chemicals is better done in a separate tank.
