Who and where has the best prices of acrylic in OK?? I'm thinking of trying to build some stuff this fall, like a new sump.

they are on reno just west of council. You might call before you go if you need something specific. they have a lead time for a couple of hours. sometimes days.

I was wondering that, too. Is it Extruded or Cell Cast? I know it's not the one at Lowe's. I want to say that Cell Cast is the good one. But don't take my word for it. Let someone else who actually remembers post it.

cast is the ultra clear, meaning it is cast in molds when it is molten. Extruded meaning it is hot rolled after it is made, kinda like steel.

The casy is the nicer, it;s clearer with fewer inpurities. They sell both, and the extruded is cheaper

I think the cell cast is stronger as well. Which is the one I'm looking for.

That is correct. Though many have used extruded before just fine. My sump is built out of cheapo extruded crap. (of course, I broke something on it recently.... hmmnn... )

Guess if I brace the extruded since it's a sump/refuge with baffles that would add to strength I'm not to worried about clarity. Do you that would work. The size I'm looking at would be roughly 40 long 20 deep and maybe 18 tall.

I think that would be fine. As you suggest, some Euro-bracing will help strengthen the walls. In fact, I'd say it's pretty much required...
