Who has these?

These are a green zoanthid from Australia. Their inner color is the same as NG's in my tank, and the polyp shape, size, and rim is the same as a Tubb blue zoa, so they are very cool. They dont grow very fast, this is a old picture, and since then i have lost all the bad algae along with many of these polyps from a tank crash.

Just looking for other peoples pic's and any other info on one of my oldest [but not biggest] colonies.

I had :( a few colonies for few years - they do not grow too quick ...but one day - GONE all of them - i couldn't belive. Now I have only few polyps that survived that "THING" so no pics

the greens in the pic look very much like some I used to have. They were id as " mr green beam". Not to bring names in but just thought it would help. They are really green and very bright. Wish mine didn't melt during my 55gallon tank crash.

The ones posted are similar, and all very cool. wish i had that 2nd ones, i had a couple of the 3rd but they melted.

Does anyone have pics of the same as mine before they melted on you guys? or anyone who has managed to keep them?

the lastest pic of mine it's spread very quickly and melt quickly also , I have left some of them. it's under Algae Shading ..

It love about 7000 K light , with high range of current adaptation itself , so it's spread very quick under my sunlight tank.

i have them. they take SO LONG TO GROW! got them off
vividaquariums. sorry for quality.

Thanks everyone for all the great pictures of some really cool zoanthid colonies/frags. I dont want this next post to seem stuck up or rude, but i want to clarify a little more about the polyp, since i dont know if i have seen it in any other tanks.

They have the exact same color as a nuc green in my tank under 400 watt 14k MH.

Some beautiful polyps that are simliar but not quite the same are these polyps kindly posted by yimyim

I also have the polyps pictured above in my tank, and they seem to be a darker green, with very small stripes on the middle of polyps if looked at closer. Now i know that polyps morph tank to tank, but im fairly confident these are not the same since i have some in my tank and they are a more dark green, like a xmas tree color...haha.

The last zoanthids posted are very cool as well, but i also have a larger colony of those which are not quite the same, as it is more of a ring of green not a full green zoanthid.

Mine came in from Australia about 2 or 3 years ago if that helps. Im just curious because it has always been one of my favorite zoanthids. And just recently while looking at my tank i thought to myself, wow, i have not seen those in person before in another reefers tank.

First and last bump, since this is kinda puzzling me that i cant find another reefer with a shot of the same morph. Closest i can find on net is this

http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=Gallery2&g2_itemId=172

But it has more of a eye, as you can see in my latest and clearest picture mine dont have much of one at all, just like a tubb blue.

....

i know im being too picky its just weird i cant find another person with a picture of the same morph.

had these all melt on me

YES!, those are them. Thanks for posting the picture. I have a couple of questions.

1. Where and when did you get them?
2. How much did you pay?
3. Did you get any growth?
4. What type of lights did you have?
5. How long did you have them until they melted?

thanks

here are my pics of the above zoas:
i think the first pic looks like yours..
