Just bought my ticket through Orbitz for 240.00 round trip flying Continental,not bad considering it was as high as 380.00 last month.Wondering who else is going this year.

Im leaving Wednesday,staying with Larry and Leng.Apparently I've got cot duty.I'll be helping Ecosystems with set up during the day and by Thursday night I'll hopefully be having crawfish etoufee at my favorite Cajun restaurant Pappadeauxs.Also plan on getting my fill on Texas BB Que,mesquite smoked ofcourse and Soul food,been craving smothered pork chops for 4 years.The local Soul food restaurants here are missing some magic,Im guessing it's the lack of Southern flair or maybe the hot and mushy peach cobbler.But I regress,if you havent been to Houston before it's one of the best food and drinking cities out there and the Westin Hotel is nothing to scoff at either.As far as fun after the conference it's only third to Vegas and New Orleans.

Robert, as appetizing as your trip expectations seems to be It's unlikely that I would be able to assist, it is my daughters birthday that weekend and it will be tha last "big" b'day we will celebrate as she will be turning 7, My wife is already planning the menu for me
In any case I wish you to have a wonderful trip, bring me some of that soul food with a little of that flair so I can try it too.

Dont plan on bringing any frags or fish with you! they wouldnt let me on the plane with AM with 2 fish I was bringing to NY for my Dad. The Lady offered to throw them away for me! I about slapped her. So yeah...Needless to say dont plan on carrying anything on the plane!!

This past february, I flew American Airlines to california and back, on the way back with two large Zoanthid colonies in two seperate big bags in one "thank you" bag with no problems on my lap (that was uncomfortable, but the addiction to this hobby is like no other)....

I plan on packing a styrofoam ice chest with foam peanuts and frags and checking it in .Any carry on liquids is a no go since the latest terrorist attempt. But Im really going for the latest information and to pic some brains .
