Hello all. May ask how to get on chatrooms like before?

@MiNdErAsR managed the chat room but, I’m not sure it exists anymore.

People stopped going into chat a long time ago. I got tired of sitting alone in the chatroom. Gave the AfterX domain to a longtime user/friend, who did keep the irc server going for a while. I have no idea if it still exists, but if it does irc.afterx.net should get you there.

With that said, based on this link it may no longer exist.

I'm coming back! I just picked up a tank and will be setting up soon. I'm shocked at all the changes and prices! I'm also sad that the club isn't active.

Unfortunately, Facebook had a huge (negative) impact across hobby forums of all types. It seems people prefer the instant gratification of social media and would rather receive an immediate (many times incorrect) answer rather than be patient and get a correct answer.

That said, here on RC in general (not necessarily MARS) we have a pretty active group. I personally love following new builds and would follow along if you start a build thread.

Yes and I still chat with a friend from my time in MARS. I miss the meetings.
