5 gallon bucket 2 teaspoons of pickleing lime 1 900 maxi jet and a tube of air line. It's empty in about a week.

Question, are you stirring the kalk after the initial mixing? If so, stop doing that it will lose potency.

So why do people use Kalk stirrers then? What is the difference?

Great I just dropped the maxi in the bucket and let it run. Opps. I'll take it out then. Didn't know that. Thanks Roy.

Stirrers are on the kalk reactors to keep them from clumping and to mix again since ro/di is added as used. The only problem with them is the impurities are also kept in solution and some of the self purification process of settling is eliminated in both kalk reactors and constant stirring. That's to much reading for me Roy, I'm kinda lazy. Instead I'll just take your opinon on it and I removed the maxi jet I'm home sick today and just don't seem to want to read to much. Yet I've been up and on here off and on all day huh.
