Who keeps SPS corals in their nano?

Just wanting to get a feel for what percentage of nano reefers keep SPS corals in their aquariums. Pictures would be nice too :D

No pics ight now (maybe tomorrow or later tonight), but I've got a nice piece of a montipora digitata in my 10g w/ 80w pc. It's been in there for about 6 weeks. At first it started to brown up a little, but in the last week it's regained it's purple back and is slowly growing. Probably had a bit of a shock going from mh to my pc, but I keep it high in the tank w/ lots of flow and it seems to be happy. The polyps extend all the time and it looks very healthy.

I just started keeping SPS in my nanocube (modified lighting and stuff of course) and so far they seem to be doing ok.

Ill post pics up when i find my camera...

Pardon me for inquiring on this thread. But could you please give us your maintenance/feeding regimen on this 10g nano. I'm just interested because you're keeping sps under pc lighting. One of my lfs has a 20g tank with some sps that he successfully keeps under 130w of pc. His only maintenance is a 5g water change each week- no protein skimmer.

i keep pociliporia under 135watt power compacts in my 20l doesnt do as well as the peice under 175watt halide

Here is the digitata at night tonight on the left side of my tank. I don't have moonlights but I let the refugium light spill over into the tank for the picture... I also have an encrusting monti that came on one of my liverocks, a hodag's frag that I got free and am trying, and a green w/ purple rim monti cap that's growing.

This shows after about 6 weeks of being in my tank. Many tips have grown 1/4 of an inch, and there are quite a few new tips starting to branch off.

For the past three months I have been running a 10g w/ an AC70 used as a fuge and filter. It's got a little pad w/ carbon and floss (generic from a local store) replacing the stock "guts" and then a big ball of cheato on top lit by a galaxy palm light on a reverse cycle of my orbit fixture. Water movement done by filter, set all the way low, and a mini-jet 606 powerhead on about 2/3 flow. No protein skimmer at this point.

Water changes are about 2-2.5 gallons per week. I don't dose anything. I use RO/DI topoff as needed. For feeding I feed my clown and fire shrimp every day with freeze-dried food, and the whole tank gets fed every 5 days with a mix of cyclop-eze and dt's phytoplankton.

This is a monti plate a local threw in when I bought some other stuff from him. I was careful to let it just sit after the first time I placed it (unlike most of my other corals) and this shows growth after about one month. The original size was where you can see the little ridge about 3/8 of an inch in from all the way around the edge. Color has lightened some, but is coming back well (obviously due to the switch from MH to the bottom of a tank w/ PC's).

I do! Check my "red house" for info and stuff.

Although if you want a percentage, you might want to set up a poll  . Are you planning on setting an SPS tank up?

Hey herostar, nice Tyree toadstool!

Well I had a 29g going however the UV shield on my fixture slipped out and radiated EVERYTHING! Starting over from scratch.

Sure chinchek I use a 10k 150 w and the actinics are o3 The very blue ones. This blub combination give a very bright white look.
