Thirdly, Hosting is not something that has to be learned by the parents, a tank-raised clownfish will host in something. I have and have had very many clownfish and they all have hosted anemones. No matter what age. The natural host helps but ime any anemone will be excepted in time, how much time depends on the clown, but never more than 6 months imo.
