I was gone to build the stand and canopies my self but I like to know how much this can cost me if is not to much I wont waste my time and money, now if any off u guys know who can make it and they prises are not to bad please let me know thanksssss

Roggers steel stand was pretty heavy, it took about 8 guys to move it in and out w/ the sump inside. I do not think a wooden stand would be much lighter.

i feel metal would be better because it will probably be lighter, and it can't disintigrate if it gets saturated with water.

I think for a tank that size I would definitely go with metal. For one thing, with wood you'd need more bracing. With the metal stand, all it has is one center bar on the sides and bottom. A couple of extra braces on the top to prevent the wood top from warping. So you get more room to work underneath and less obstruction.

U guys win I will use metal :D now I need some one that can make me this

thanks alot guys

I am very impressed on how strong this stand is, and it is really not that heavy on its own but when we moved the stand it had a 125g glass sump inside plus electrical boxes to light up my entire house and wood panels on bottom and top, so needless to say it was "heavier"
